Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (OR) McKinney, TX. This role involves providing expert nursing care in a busy surgical unit specializing in orthopedic, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology procedures. The position requires working a day shift with a typical schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on August 10, 2026. The candidate must possess prior operating room experience and be a team player with a positive attitude.

Job Details:

• Location: 4500 Medical Center Dr., McKinney, TX 75069
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a BLS Healthcare Provider, with at least 1 year of experience in the operating room, including neuro and orthopedic/spine procedures. Experience in trauma centers preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma center experience or orthopedic experience is advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit exists on the 1st floor of a main building, comprising 7 operating room suites and a staff of approximately 45 team members including RNs, CSTs, ancillary support staff, anesthesia techs, and orderlies.
  • Typical procedures include orthopedic, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology surgeries.
  • The team values a positive, team-oriented personality.
  • The facility maintains a dress code of hospital-provided scrubs.
  • The call requirements involve approximately 10 days per month, with up to 15 days for CVOR positions. OR CSTs are expected to be on call about once a week and one weekend per month.
