What you’ll do Read work orders/formulas to determine materials, sequence, and process steps. Weigh ingredients precisely, adjust to target weights, and charge vessels in order. Start and observe machines, stop for issues, and alert the supervisor to malfunctions. Log batch time/temperature and maintain accurate records (weights, product type, dates, batch numbers). Transfer staged materials to production/storage and keep perpetual inventory current with drum markings and scans. Inspect materials, in-process product, and containers at each step. Cross-train across the production line; clean area, tools, machines, and equipment; perform other duties as needed. What you bring Safety-first mindset; consistent PPE use and adherence to procedures. English communication adequate to read, write, and speak on the job. Willingness to learn scan gun use for inventory control.Ability to lift 55 lb bags repeatedly and stand/walk/bend/ascend stairs throughout an 8-hour shift; available for any shift. Basic arithmetic skills. Comfort working in a hot, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ongoing safety training participation; interest in Lean Manufacturing. Desire to learn safe forklift operation. High school diploma or GED.
