I opened my agency in 2025 after spending time in another State Farm office, driven by the goal of building my own agency and continuing my family’s legacy as a second-generation State Farm agent. I studied science before shifting my path toward investing, and ultimately insurance, and I’m a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. Outside of work, I’m a dad to twin daughters, and I love food - trying new restaurants, supporting small local spots, and traveling whenever I can. Our team currently includes two team members, and we’re excited to grow as we build a strong, motivated office together. Chris Hunt - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
