Join Pita Kitchen as a Restaurant Cook and be a part of our vibrant team in Glendale, AZ! We are passionate about serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Mediterranean dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Assist in inventory management and food ordering.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
- Assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.
- Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Food Handler's Certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for food and culinary creativity.
