Job Description:

Storybook Mountain is a small family winery that possesses a strong reputation for making some of the most exceptional wines in the Napa Valley made from 100% estate grapes. Primarily Zinfandel, we are also well-known for crafting outstanding Viognier, Cabernet, and red blends.

We are seeking motivated individuals interested in working alongside our Owner/Winemaker and team to gain invaluable experience crafting wines of remarkable quality. This opportunity is ideal for any aspiring winemaker looking for practical experience as a member of a small winemaking team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Help bring in grapes from the vineyard
•  Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment, Tanks, and Workspace
•  Crush Operations
•  Pump-overs
•  Fermentation Monitoring
•  Drain and Press Operations
•  Barrel Preparation
•  Racking and Barrel Filling
•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Ability to work long hours and all days of the week
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to be on feet for long hours

This position requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, under conditions of physical and mental fatigue, while maintaining clarity, focus, and a positive attitude. Applicants must be willing to stand for many hours and repeatedly carry heavy objects. We are looking for a team player who is hard-working, reliable, and self-motivated.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the US, provide their own housing, and have a reliable means of transportation.
