Business system Analyst
• Over 8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication for both new and enhanced applications.
• Expertise in Agile (SAFe, Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, actively involved in Scrum ceremonies Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborated with stakeholders, project managers, product owners, SMEs, and development teams to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
• Led requirements elicitation using interviews, surveys, focus groups, and document analysis conducted JAD sessions for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Skilled in impact analysis, GAP analysis, and root cause analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Actively participated in SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, PO Sync, PMC, and Scrum of Scrums, ensuring cadence across the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Strong experience with change management, responding efficiently to evolving business needs.
• Designed and developed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with product requirements.
• Supported UAT and regression testing, collaborating with QA teams and ensuring quality in pre- and post-deployment phases.
• Participated in code reviews, assisted in defining test strategy frameworks, and managed testing deliverables throughout the SDLC.
• Worked closely with QA and dev teams to monitor and resolve production issues and ensure business continuity.
• Proficient in creating detailed documentation Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), use cases, and mockups.
• Designed UML diagrams including Use Case, Data Flow, ER Diagrams, Sequence, and Activity diagrams using MS Visio.
• Worked with Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.
• Collaborated with both onshore and offshore teams, maintaining project schedules and ensuring deliverable alignment.
• Supported UI development teams with AJAX integration to enable dynamic user interfaces.
• Experienced with systems integration, data validation, and supporting both client-side and server-side logic.
• Experienced in API integration coordination, including defining API contracts, managing interface requirements, and creating comprehensive API mapping documents to ensure seamless communication between systems.
• Proficient in supporting ETL processes by collaborating with data teams, creating detailed source-to-target mapping documents, and ensuring smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading using tools like Informatica.
• Experienced in working with OLTP systems for real-time data capture and coordinating with OLAP systems to transform transactional data for historical analysis and business intelligence reporting.
