Minot North Dakota
Westlie Truck Center in Minot ND is looking for experienced Diesel techs.. Westlies features Freightliner, Western Star, CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmissions. Our shop is busy and we need more help… This is a full time career with a well-established North Dakota Heavy Duty Truck Dealership. Responsibilities Diesel Technician:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair truck systems including: Electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs to proper specifications.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications Heavy Duty Diesel Technician:
- High degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiency.
- Effective oral & written communication
- Ability to follow directions
- Comprehension of safety & policy practices
- Ability to use a computer
- A customer first attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have full mobility, and be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
- Must have valid driver’s license
