Location: Lenoir, NC
Compensation: $16.00 $17.00 per hour (based on role assignment)
Shift Schedules
- 1st Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented, hard-working Warehouse Processing and Line Sorting Associates to join our production team in Lenoir, NC. In this dual-function role, you will sort incoming materials off a moving conveyor line, break down oversized pallets, recover high-value merchandise, and rebuild pallets for outbound distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort items off a conveyor line into designated categories (cardboard, plastics, foam, glass, electronics, paper, textiles, etc.).
- Identify, collect, and safeguard high-value merchandise per company protocols.
- Prevent material cross-contamination and keep workstations organized.
- Unpack boxes (520 lbs) and build stable pallets up to 56 feet high.
- Break down oversized incoming pallets, separating recyclable materials from general waste.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to stand and walk for 810 hours; frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
- Ability to continuously lift up to 20 lbs or 50+ lbs using team lifting or equipment when necessary.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots required upon start.
