P.E. Teacher

St. John's Catholic School is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster a Christ-centered learning environment that encourages teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship in accordance with Catholic values and teachings for students in PreK through 8th grade. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with state standards Promote physical fitness, motor skills development, and healthy habits Supervise students during physical activities and school events Maintain a safe and organized gymnasium and outdoor activity areas Encourage teamwork, character development, and sportsmanship Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree PE certification preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and credentials Supportive school environment Professional development opportunities Insurance available upon review #J-18808-Ljbffr
