Certified Scrum MasterLocation: Charlotte, NC, USAOnsite roleContract positionJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies, specifically as a SAFe Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software development and project management, demonstrating a proven track record of leading cross functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage multiple projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Responsibilities:Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Act as a servant leader to the development team, removing impediments and ensuring a smooth workflow.Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.Implement and promote SAFe principles and practices across the organization.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share feedback and learn from experiences.Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software development.Mentor and coach team members on Agile methodologies and SAFe practices.Mandatory Skills:Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Scrum Master.Proven experience in leading Agile software development projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.Preferred Skills:Experience with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git).Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience in mentoring and training teams on Agile methodologies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.SAFe Scrum Master certification is required.15+ years of experience in software development and project management.Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
