Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Byron, GA

Key responsibilities:

• Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and image quality
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to strict safety standards
• Evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic utility
• Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results in medical records systems
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patient care teams to coordinate diagnostic evaluations
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients throughout their imaging experience
• Monitor and manage radioactive material inventory safely in compliance with regulations

Qualifications needed:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification (or eligibility)
• Active BLS certification
• Previous nuclear medicine imaging experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
