Registered Nurse
MLR (MLee Recruiting) is actively searching for a full-time, permanent Nursing Specialist to join a dedicated team at a respected acute-care hospital near Haskell, Texas!
Salary Range: $65,599 - $90,979 annually
Core Duties:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand patients' health conditions and address any concerns they might have.
- Health History Recording: Maintain accurate records of patients' health backgrounds, current conditions, and symptoms.
- Patient Comfort and Preparation: Ensure patients are well-informed and at ease prior to examinations or treatments.
- Medication Delivery: Safely provide prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for any adverse effects or reactions.
- Care Planning: Work with the healthcare team to develop and revise personalized care plans tailored to each patient.
- Wound Care: Administer necessary wound management, including cleaning and dressing as needed.
- Procedure Support: Assist medical staff during a range of procedures.
- Equipment Supervision: Operate and check medical devices to ensure proper functionality.
- Sample Collection: Obtain blood, urine, and other specimens for lab testing.
- Patient and Family Guidance: Educate patients and families on care plans, ensuring they understand the treatment approach.
- Leadership and Oversight: Guide licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and nursing students to maintain a high level of care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- CPR-BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certification for C4 units within 6 months
- NRP Certification for C4 and Labor & Delivery within 6 months
- PALS or ENPC Certification within the specified timeframe
