Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift CV Neuro ICU position requiring critical drip and art line management skills.

Details

• CV Neuro ICU unit with 22 beds and 58 staff members
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Uses equipment including CRRT, ventilators, MTP, Hemospheres, art lines, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, and TTM
• Performs procedures such as bronchoscopy, CVC and art line insertion
• Floating required to ICC, TCU, and ICU units

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with pressor medication management, art line management, and critical drip management required
• Circulatory device experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to CV Neuro ICU patients, including management of complex drips, art lines, and circulatory support devices
• Flexible personality fit preferred for this fast-paced unit
• Must follow attendance policy and meet all scheduled shift commitments
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
