The other players took generic hiring tech, slapped a hard hat on it, and called it a day. Nobody has truly built for the trades. Nobody is innovating. Collars is different, and we will keep building the digital world for the people who build the physical one. The Role We are looking for one person to own marketing at Collars, top to bottom. Not the manager of a content calendar. The voice of a movement. You will be the operator who builds the machine and the creator who is the eye of Collars in the field: on jobsites, in the feed, everywhere the trades are. You will build this function from zero and grow into the leader of it. We build AI automation into everything, so you design systems that scale, not one-off posts. You report to our fractional CMO. What you will own Marketing execution across both sides of the platform: email, outreach, and campaigns, end to end AI-driven workflows that automate outreach, content production, lead routing, and reporting Organic social across all major platforms, including shooting and editing short-form video Copy that hits, across email, social, web, and sales materials Our worker-facing brand campaign day to day, and a real community of tradespeople Our webinar and event series, from signup to follow-up Sales enablement: the materials that help close deals The funnel: track it, learn from it, and double down on what works What you bring 3+ years running marketing execution, not just strategy Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate work and produce content at volume (Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier or Make, or similar). You build systems, not one-off prompts Copywriting that grabs people, long form and short (Exceptional at Short!) Real short-form video chops: you can shoot and edit without a crew Native fluency in social platforms, trends, and formats Email and CRM experience (Brevo, Attio, HubSpot) and comfort with funnel analytics like GA4 Comfort on jobsites and around the trades, capturing the real thing A fire for the trades, or the drive to earn it fast Compensation: The base is $52,000, and we are not going to dress it up.
