Job Description & Requirements Specialty: GI Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) in an acute care setting. The position involves providing preoperative and Phase II recovery nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, and advanced GI cases. The role requires versatile, skilled nursing support with a focus on airway management, IV skills, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS (AHA); 2 years of experience required. Schedule: 4 x 9-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM), with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include managing 2-3 patients during recovery, administering procedural sedation, airway management, IV therapy, and interpreting cardiac rhythms. EMR/Equipment: EPIC. Critical skills: Proficient in IV skills, post-anesthesia care, airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
