Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately to identify changes or abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and response to treatments in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state licensing requirements, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio license or compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months recent perm nursing experience in MS/Tele specialty.
• Active and current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHHS preferred.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months in the specialty.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and compliance assessments.
