The team is responsible for owning the company's budget, driving annual and quarterly planning processes, allocating and deploying the company's resources efficiently, performing financial analyses, and partnering with teams across the company. The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, a great communicator, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll get substantial visibility, focus on the highest-priority business issues, and be plugged into every facet of the business. We are currently hiring for a few roles across our Strategic Finance team.Go-To-Market: This role will focus on our Sales business. In your first 12 months, you will: Own and materially improve Figma’s annual planning and forecasting processInfluence resourcing and investment decisions across the Sales businessCorporate: This role will help deliver high accuracy in our revenue and ARR close. In your first 12 months, you will: Own, scale, and materially improve Figma’s Top-line financial ARR close and Figma’s revenue modelLeverage automation to surface data-driven insights, enabling management to take proactive, margin-impacting actionsGrowth: This role will focus on Figma's Acquisitions. In your first 12 months you will:Own reporting & forecasting for acquired businesses, including revenue, headcount, and operating expensesPartner with acquired business leadership to identify growth levers, inform pricing & packaging, and build out unit economics framework(s)This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs(SF / NY) or remotely in the United States.What you’ll do at Figma:Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to monitor business performance, drive growth initiatives, and provide visibility into operating performance Build annual operating plans, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts Develop cross-functional partnerships across Figma to formulate business insight and inform executive decision makingOwn, run, and improve financial processes that support Figma’s businessPartner with Strategic Finance, Data Science, and RevOps to improve our ARR data quality and forecastingPrepare and deliver presentations for the Executive Team, including the CFO, CMO, and CROExperiment with AI-driven solutions to automate workflows, enhance accuracy, and elevate the speed and impact of Strategic Finance operationsHelp scale financial operating rhythms as Figma continues to growBecome a trusted thought partner to functional leaders and the executive teamWe'd love to hear from you if you have:5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, Big 4 audit, business operations, or related fieldsExperience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysisDemonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plansExperience problem-solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on timeExperience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functionsGenuine curiosity and passion in the work that you doWhile not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:Experience at a high growth B2B SaaS company, with bonus points for GTM experienceSQL/AI tooling experience and deep experience working with large data-setsAt Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles.
