As a Sous Chef with Wolfgang Puck Catering, you'll play an essential role in bringing exceptional culinary experiences to life across premier catered events, corporate dining programs, and high-profile client engagements throughout Los Angeles. This opportunity is ideal for chefs who have built a strong foundation in restaurant kitchens and are interested in expanding their experience into the world of luxury catering, large-scale events, and off-premise dining. You'll work alongside experienced culinary leaders, develop new skills in event execution and production planning, and help deliver the creativity and quality that define the Wolfgang Puck brand.

Support daily food production for catered events, corporate dining programs, and special culinary experiences.

Partner with Executive Chefs and culinary leadership to execute menus with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

Lead and support kitchen team members during production and service periods.

Assist with planning and coordinating event-related food preparation and execution.

Ensure all dishes meet Wolfgang Puck Catering standards for presentation, flavor, and guest experience.

Help manage inventory, product rotation, ordering, and waste reduction efforts.

Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Contribute ideas that improve kitchen efficiency, teamwork, and overall culinary excellence.

Support onsite event execution as needed, gaining exposure to a variety of event formats and client experiences.

Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, Kitchen Manager, or similar culinary leadership role.

Background in full-service restaurants, fine dining, upscale casual dining, hotels, resorts, or related hospitality environments.

Interest in learning and growing within catering, event dining, and large-scale culinary operations.

Ability to lead by example and support a collaborative kitchen culture.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of food quality standards, kitchen operations, and production execution.

Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.

Flexibility to support a variety of events, schedules, and business needs.
