Provide support to Systems Engineers and System Designers in performing hardware and software engineering activities. Create, monitor and edit engineering spreadsheets. Review project documentation and help engineers interpret data. Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve engineering inefficiencies and resolve related items. How you will do it Prepare and maintain engineering spreadsheets for hardware and software deliverables Support Hardware and Software Engineers in creating hardware and software submittals Keep management, contractors or customers informed of job progress and issues Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation Document changes and provide information for as‑built documentation Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training, ensuring a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure engineering runs efficiently Provide documentation to support recommendations and solutions What we look for Vocational school four‑year program or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field plus three years of industry experience; or one year of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry Generally required knowledge in HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other contacts ethically and professionally Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences; leadership skills to support mechanics working on non‑complex, non‑critical building automation equipment on a job site PC experience required and ability to program HVAC‑related software HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21–$31 (Hourly rate to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data) Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Johnson Controls
