As part of our team you will perform metal fabrication and welding functions.We offer a full benefits package for eligible employees including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance401(K) with company match beginning with your first contributionHSA and/or FSA, as applicablePaid Time Off, Sick Time, and Company Paid HolidaysEmployee Car Discount ProgramEssential duties and responsibilities:Construct and manufacture metal parts and products using various welding techniques.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specification and standards.Complete understanding of fixture welding and requirements for set-up & changes needed to complete the task.Ability to fabricate any item required to complete an assigned task.Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to complete tasks.Maintain and repair welders and other large tools used in the fabrication department.Full understanding of what material is being welded and identify what weld process will be suitable for part/material.Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments.Other duties as assigned by the manager.Work environment and physical abilities:Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged/extended periodsRequires lifting up to 50 pounds frequentlyRequires lifting up to 75 pounds occasionallyRequires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machineryRequires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterityRequires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hoursRequires working in a fast-paced environmentRequires a normal range of hearing and visionMust understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situationsMust be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional mannerRequired education, experience, knowledge & skills:High School Diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.Ability to pass structural weld inspectionKnowledge of steel and aluminum fabrication techniquesExperience in machine operations in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Ability to use various power and hand toolsAbility to read blueprintsAbility to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a Post-offer background check, physical and drug screeningJob details:Type: HourlyCompensation Range: $22.00 - $26.00Bonus Eligibility: NoShift: 4 days a week, 10 hour daysReports To: Production SupervisorClosing Date: Open until filled
