Billing Clerk

Responsibilities Answering high volume telephone calls Troubleshooting customer issues Speaking with customers in reference to abuse issues / policy violations Corresponding with customers in reference to service issues Answering Billing questions Corresponding with customers regarding updated credit card information Processing monthly refund and delinquent reports Helping to open and sort mail Posting payments and processing mail files Making courtesy calls to customers Auditing accounts Answering emails from department email box Communicating with partners in reference to accounts Working with other PTD departments to resolve customer issues Other duties as assigned by manager or director Requirements H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. Established residency in Pennsylvania Previous Experience in Billing and/or Customer Service recommended Understanding of Viruses and Network Security recommended Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems recommended Familiarity with PenTeleData policies preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Possess a positive attitude Excellent Communication Skills - Oral and written Good Organizational skills Good Follow-up Skills Good Typing skills Ability to interact well with customers on a daily basis Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Ability to adapt to change and the changing needs of the company Certifications H.S.
