About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Business Development with a focus on the aerospace, defense, and space sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing growth initiatives, as well as penetrating additional A&D markets. A strategic acquisition has been made, providing a strong foundation to build upon. The role demands a strategic-minded individual with a go-getter attitude, capable of shaping the long-term A&D capabilities, including planning, investments, and M&A activities. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated business development experience in the A&D industry, specifically for mechanical systems or machining. The role requires a professional with strong business acumen, adept at developing go-to-market strategies, identifying and winning new business, and nurturing existing relationships. The Executive Director will also be the primary face of the organization for the A&D market, collaborating with the executive team, and must be a US citizen, with DoD clearance being a plus. The position offers an entrepreneurial mandate to influence the strategic direction and grow the role as the business expands.
