FIBERTOWN is looking for a Customer Service Technician for their Bryan, TX Data Center.Position ObjectiveProvide 1st level customer support to FIBERTOWN clientsMonitor and support facility and network health objectivesAssist in collecting performance metrics of facility systemsAssist in service delivery functions as necessaryPerformance StandardsProviding exceptional customer service to all customers, suppliers, and employees.Constantly representing Astin in a positive and professional manner regardless of customer requests, complaints, or demeanor.Complying with Astin policies and procedures. Interacting with other Astin employees, suppliers, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.Communicating work progress and significant issues to your supervisor.General ResponsibilitiesProvide telephone support for FIBERTOWN clientsMonitor and escalate issues to various responsible partiesRespond to inquiries and requests for assistance with computer systems or networkFollow basic procedures and scriptsIdentify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to assist usersDocumentationOther duties as assignedQualifications Minimum HS diploma or equivalent with some college preferred Excellent telephone and customer service skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel. Basic understanding of networking and networking componentsGood written and verbal communication skills requiredWe are a 24/7/365 operation and the selected candidate will need to be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and company Holidays.
