The ideal candidate will have accounting experience within the real estate or property management industry and be comfortable handling accounts payable, cash receipts, expense reimbursements, reconciliations, and general accounting and administrative duties.Strong communication skills and bilingual Mandarin proficiency are required for this position. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive checks, prepare deposit slips, verify remittances against business accounts, and deposit checksEnsure timely and accurate processing of accounts payableReceive, verify, and post AP invoices into the accounting systemReview purchase orders, check requests, and related documentation for completeness and compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirementsReceive credit card receipts and perform monthly corporate credit card reconciliationsReview and process employee expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policiesMaintain accurate accounting department files and recordsEnter financial and accounting information into the accounting data entry systemAnswer, screen, and direct incoming telephone callsSort and distribute internal and external mailPerform general clerical and administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailingAssist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by managementQualificationsPrevious experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting roleExperience in the real estate or property management industry strongly preferredExperience with accounts payable, cash receipts, reconciliations, and general accounting functionsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office/ExcelAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling financial informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsBilingual Mandarin requiredAbility to work independently and effectively in a fully onsite environment
