Job Opportunity – Hospitalist – Pennsylvania

Start Date: October 16

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, or 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM); primarily day shifts. Minimum commitment of 12-16 shifts per month on an ongoing basis.

Highlights:

• Join a well-established hospitalist group with over 12 years of experience in a collegial, supportive environment
• Manage approximately 18+ adult patients per day with strong specialty support including Critical Care, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care
• Work alongside a collaborative team of 10 physicians and 6 physician assistants with intensivist support during prime hours
• EPIC EMR system in use; closed ICU model with 12 ICU beds for basic ventilator and ICU care coverage
• No trauma center responsibilities; facility handles approximately 35,000 ER visits annually
• Ongoing contract with flexible shift options and low-level PA supervision opportunities

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Current DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 270 inpatient encounters within the past 12 months OR completion of ARC-PA accredited program within the past 12 months
• Inpatient hospitalist experience with ability to manage ICU-level patients (basic care)
• Special procedures not required but permitted if credentialed
