What You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing thorough patient evaluations and formulating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, based on your qualifications
• Instructing patients and their families in preventative measures, health optimization, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Participating in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and unified care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
