It's a journey on which you rise.Pay Range: $48,000 - $55,000 FT - Includes WeekendsYour RolePart of a shared service center that operates for multi branches, the Customs Entry Specialist processes the Customs Entry in a timely manner and with accuracy.What Are You Going To Do?Receives import files to clear through CustomsEnsure import clearance files are compliant with US Customs regulationsResolve and communicate clearance issues with internal team members and with customersPrioritize shipments based on ETA or other factorsProcess customs bonds as neededProcess steel licenses as neededCommunicate entry releaseEnsure each file is invoiced correctlyHelp identify areas that need improvementAssist with new customer implementationStays up to date with current regulations with US CustomsWhat Are We Looking For?Education and Experience: 2-5 years of processing customs entriesCHB License is a plusSkills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Extensive excel experience with Adobe PDF knowledge is a plusFluent in English, both written and oralCharacteristics: Ability to learn all aspects of the team's work, and to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. Organizational and time management skills. Self-starter, sense of urgency, communication.
