Role Description The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective customers, generating new leads through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach, and nurturing early-stage relationships. This role includes researching target accounts, understanding their invoice-to-cash challenges, and clearly communicating how Payra’s solutions integrate with their existing ERP systems. The SDR will schedule discovery meetings and product demos for the sales team, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and collaborate closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies. Success in this role requires consistent activity, thoughtful follow-up, and the ability to learn and explain Payra’s value to financial and operations stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline building.

• Proficiency in Sales and Business Development, including qualifying opportunities and supporting deal progression.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
\n
• Comfort working with CRM and sales engagement tools, and using data to prioritize and track outreach.
\n
• Ability to quickly learn and explain technology solutions, ideally with some familiarity with ERP or financial systems.

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple prospects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative mindset and willingness to partner with sales, marketing, and product teams.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in sales, business, or a related field is preferred.
