Product Manager, Healthcare Technology Location: Remote role, Northern Chicago area preferred
Salary: $120,000–$130,000 annually + annual bonus opportunity
Travel: Up to 5%
About the RoleBrightStar Care Technology is seeking a Product Manager to help shape and deliver clinical technology products across the BrightStar Care network. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Engineering, UX Design, Program Management, clinical teams, and business stakeholders to modernize clinical workflows, streamline care documentation, and improve healthcare operations.
You’ll help translate clinical needs, user feedback, compliance requirements, business priorities, and technical considerations into clear product requirements and priorities, supporting products from discovery and development through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities What You’ll Do

• Support the execution of product strategy, vision, and roadmap , aligning product priorities with organizational goals, user needs, and market trends.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, UX Design, Program Management, clinical partners, and business stakeholders to plan and deliver solutions that reflect real-world healthcare workflows.
• Own and maintain the product backlog , prioritizing features, enhancements, and requirements based on business value, user needs, and technical considerations.
• Translate clinical workflows and business requirements into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear expected system behavior .
• Work directly with clinical stakeholders and end users to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and improve the product experience.
• Track and evaluate product KPIs and performance metrics to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Support backlog grooming, scope clarification, defect triage, QA validation, and release readiness in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Help lead pilot programs, phased rollouts, change management, user adoption, stakeholder communications, and post-launch iteration for clinical product capabilities.

Required Skills What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration , or a related field.
• 3–5 years of product management experience in software, technology, or a related product environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business goals, user needs, clinical workflows, and technical constraints into actionable product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data and product insights to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical, business, product, and technical teams .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare technology, clinical software, EMR/EHR systems, care documentation, patient records, or care planning tools .
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance considerations, including HIPAA and patient privacy .

Compensation & Work Environment Salary Range: $120,000–$130,000 annually
The salary range listed reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, location, and other job-related considerations.
Base salary is one component of the overall compensation package, which may also include performance-based incentives, benefits, paid time off, and other offerings depending on the position and eligibility.

This position is remote with northern Chicago area candidates preferred and up to 5% travel.
