Pay Rate: $17 per hour / temp to perm

Monday – Friday 6:30am -3:00pm

Job Overview

A General Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to support construction, manufacturing, or maintenance activities. This position involves manual labor, operating machinery, and assisting skilled tradespeople.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing workspaces.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of structures, scaffolding, and other components.
• Support skilled tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters.
• Carry out routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and upkeep as needed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors or project managers.
• Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in labor or construction is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
