Mr. Handyman of Greater Peoria is hiring a well-rounded Handyman Service Professional.

This is for the experienced all-around repair person who is done with 1099 life—finding leads, juggling the calendar, buying materials on your own dime, and chasing payment. We keep you on local Greater Peoria jobs. We handle the office work.

Pay
Weekly gross typically $800–$1,200+ depending on experience and performance. Consistent local work, not a long-haul route.

Schedule and location
Full-time local work in Greater Peoria, Illinois. Weekday-focused schedule. Dispatch and routing are handled for you.

What you will do
●       General interior and exterior home repairs for residential and light commercial clients
●       Drywall patching and texture matching
●       Painting (interior and exterior)
●       Light plumbing repairs and fixture installs
●       Basic electrical: ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, and switches
●       Doors, screens, hardware, and small carpentry repairs
●       Exterior maintenance: soffit, fascia, siding, gutters, and fence repairs
●       Caulking, furniture assembly, TV mounting, and punch-list maintenance
●       Diagnose the issue, give the client a clear estimate, and finish the job efficiently
●       Document the job on an iPad / mobile device and keep the site clean and safe

What you need
●       8–10+ years of hands-on residential maintenance and repair (light commercial a plus)
●       Solid mix of drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, and basic carpentry
●       Comfortable writing and presenting estimates in the home
●       Your own handyman tools
●       Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
●       Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
●       Comfortable with mobile job documentation
