Job Summary and Qualifications

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) performs individual patient treatment for inpatient and outpatient populations under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). Come join our team of dedicated professionals that is committed to delivering the best patient care.


Your responsibilities will include:

• You will assist the PT in the evaluation process as directed or as needed.
• You will conduct treatments as assigned by the PT and outlined in the treatment plan.
• You will monitor the patient's response to treatment and make modifications during sessions as indicated in collaboration with the PT.
• You will supervise Rehab Aides.
• You will coordinate and communicate with the interdisciplinary team involved in patient care.
• You will participate in patient, family and staff education.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum education required is a Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current State professional license and current BLS required.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required.
• Word processing skills preferred.
