Assistant Director of Recruiting Part-time Job Category: Administrative / Clerical Requisition Number: ASSIS001360 Locations Monmouth University Main Campus 400 Cedar Ave West Long Branch, NJ 07764, USA Description Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Part‑Time Assistant Director of Recruiting for Women’s Basketball. The position will assist in all administrative aspects of recruiting and is an in‑person, on‑campus, non‑remote role. Organization of a large database of recruiting files, compliance with recruiting regulations, and support on all recruiting activities are primary responsibilities. Responsibilities Assist staff with all areas of recruiting Clip and sort practice film Coordinate recruiting of high‑school prospects Help execute July recruiting for coaches Facilitate and execute official and unofficial visits Create recruiting documents, mailouts, and PowerPoint presentations Increase game attendance by local community teams Organize transfer portal database Set up and break down practice equipment Participate in drill breakdown and culture building Assist in camps and clinics Collaborate with the community Help execute camps/clinics successfully Assist in team travel logistics Manage meal forms and distribution Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver’s license with no serious (Type A) violations within the past 5 years and no more than 3 moving (Type B) violations within the past 3 years CPR and NCAA recruiting certification within six months of hire Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately Understanding of the university’s concern for academics as well as athletic excellence Capability to operate a variety of office equipment Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel 2016 Preferred Requirements Understanding of the recruiting landscape Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech system and the league Film Exchange system Benefits Fitness Center – Employees may use the Fitness Center while employed in the part‑time or on‑call capacity Recreational & cultural activities – Athletic and cultural events throughout the academic year are open to employees free of charge or at reduced cost University Bookstore discount – Employees receive a 10 % discount on most items purchased in the University Bookstore Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
