Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a System Administrator 3 to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems across complex enterprise environments.This role focuses on sustaining mission-critical infrastructure, leading advanced troubleshooting efforts, and supporting high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The ideal candidate will manage complex systems, optimize performance, and support infrastructure leveraging high-speed networks and advanced storage technologies.Key Responsibilities: Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systemsPerform advanced Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolutionManage system operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and optimizationConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems across enterprise environmentsSupport HPC infrastructure, including high-speed networking (InfiniBand, Slingshot)Administer and troubleshoot storage solutions, including Lustre file systems and DDN Exascaler appliancesSupport TCP/IP networking and storage fabric environmentsUtilize automation and configuration tools (Salt, Ansible) to improve efficiencyMaintain and enhance system monitoring and alerting (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical guidance for complex system issuesQualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of experience may substitute)Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in similar environmentsDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)Advanced experience with Linux systems, HPC environments, and networking (including storage fabrics)Experience with automation, monitoring, and performance tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
