Legal Administrative Coordinator

Legal Administrative Coordinator Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms, seeks a Legal Administrative Coordinator (LAC) to support the Litigation Practice Group. The position reports to the Office Manager and requires a broad range of administrative, secretarial and document processing support with a strong focus on superior client service. Responsibilities Use Task Delegation and Workflow Management software (BigHand) to receive, enter, and update assignments; communicate status of task completion and new developments. Assist with word processing, editing and proofreading correspondence, memorandums, reports, and other general communications. Draft routine correspondence and memoranda; update recurring reports as assigned. Perform redlining and provide legal research, case support, and project assistance. Screen and respond promptly to client, staff, legal professional, and vendor inquiries. Answer phones, take messages, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange audio/video conferences, reserve conference rooms, and set up presentations. Maintain attorney calendars, update address books and InterAction entries, and advise attorneys of appointments. Assist with time entry, billing processes, including proforma delivery, narrative edits, and customized reports. Process new business intake, related forms, and correspondence. Process expense reports and invoices, arrange check requests, and monitor through completion. Arrange travel, prepare itineraries, and maintain attorney travel and desk profiles. Coordinate printing, scanning, copying of documents, or sending of the same. Maintain electronic and physical files, calendars, correspondence, and collaborative workspaces; create and maintain binders. Maintain case docket/calendaring as needed. Transcribe text from handwritten drafts, voice messages or recordings. Open, screen, and route mail, and manage faxes and email. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications At least a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous law firm experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF software. Demonstrated ability to provide high level client service and to screen and respond promptly to communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work overtime and three days per week in the office as required by policy. Compensation & Benefits For positions in Seattle, WA the salary range is $69,818.00 - $90,677.00. Base salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on experience and market factors. Compensation may also include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include 401k plan, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accidental death and dismemberment insurance plans, health savings and flexible spending accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Work/Life Services, Health Advocate, Bright Horizons Back-Up Child Care, and WageWorks Commuter Benefits. Paid holidays, personal days, vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, parental leave, and pregnancy disability leave are also provided.
