Welder Company: Alloy Engineering Location: Berea, OH Status: Full-Time, 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) Pay: $28.00 $40.00/hr (Based on experience) Alloy Engineering is not a high-volume production shop. We are a custom-engineered solutions provider where every project is a "one-off" challenge. We are seeking a Welder a true artisan with 10+ years of experience who thrives on craftsmanship, complex industrial builds, and working with exotic alloys. As a 100% Employee-Owned company, you will have a direct stake in the company's success and the quality of every weld that leaves our floor. Key Responsibilities: Expert Precision Welding: Perform expert-level MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on critical industrial components. Custom Fabrication: Execute full-cycle metal fabrication, including layout, fit-up, and assembly of complex industrial equipment. Technical Mastery: Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and complex weld symbols with 100% accuracy. Specialized Materials: Mastery in welding Stainless Steel and high-nickel alloys. Quality Standards: Ensure all work meets rigorous ASME and AWS quality standards. Versatility: Expertly weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Requirements: 10+ Years of Experience: Must have a proven background in heavy fabrication or custom job shop environments. Proficient ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols Demonstrated mastery welding stainless steel and nickel alloys experience a plus Expert in using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) to ensure tight tolerances Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed Some work performed inside, underneath, or on top of fabrications 10-hour shifts/ 55 hours a week in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing facility Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required Must have personal welding hood and basic hand tools. Pay, Perks & Benefits: 100% company-funded retirement plan (ESOP) Competitive Compensation: Earn between $28$40/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential for 2nd shift. Sign-on Bonus: Up to $3,000 (paid after 90 days).
