Per Diem / PRN Physical Therapist - $50-55 per hour

Overview Select Physical Therapy is seeking an In‑Home Staff Physical Therapist in Southern and Western Indianapolis. The position is a treating clinical role requiring travel to different home care settings, clinics, doctor’s offices, and patients’ homes for therapy treatments. The therapist will provide preventative and rehabilitative services in the home, helping patients return to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Monday through Friday. Compensation: Competitive rates $50 to $55 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Travel to various home care settings, clinics, doctor’s offices, and patients’ homes. Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation and recommend ways to increase client independence. Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness, following agency policy and procedures. Supervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director. Educate clients, caregivers, and health‑care teams in the phases of physical therapy and in the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and durable medical equipment as appropriate. Qualifications Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment. Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
