Job Description / Duties
Guthrie is seeking a visionary leader to direct and advance its recently established Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.
Following ACGME approval obtained three years ago, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead ongoing program development, enhance curriculum and educational strategy, and ensure continued accreditation success in close collaboration with Oncology leadership.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Board Certified in Hematology and/or Oncology with a strong commitment to clinical and academic excellence.
Dedicated clinician-educator with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing the next generation of physicians.
Prior Program Leadership Experience Preferred: Experience as a Program Director or Associate Program Director is highly valued.
Established Academic Background: Minimum of 3 years serving as active faculty within an academic or training environment.
Licensure Eligibility: Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania and New York.
Collaborative Leader: Demonstrated strength in program administration, team building, and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Proven ability to engage effectively with learners, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams.
Scholarly Engagement: Experience with publications or academic research preferred, reflecting a commitment to advancing the field.
