The Procurement Technician supports the acquisition of goods and services in compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and federal regulations. This role ensures timely procurement, accurate documentation, and proper coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.

\n

\n

Compensation & Benefits:

\n

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Procurement Technician : $68,000 to $70,000.

\n

Pay commensurate with experience.

\n

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Procurement Technician Responsibilities Include:

\n

\n
• Generate work-in-process (WIP) reports and assist in tracking old awards or unassigned actions in the WIP report that need to be cancelled or other action taken.
\n
• Maintain and update work assignments within financial and workload management systems.
\n
• Receive and distribute electronic copies of Procurement Requests (PRs), proposals and supporting documentation.
\n
• Review proposal packages and request missing information.
\n
• Interface with the Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Program Analyst/Officers, and Support Contractors to check status on actions and to request missing documents or proposals.
\n
• Interface with Finance Office (Code 08) on Obligation/Commitment Issues. • Provide copies of awards to Program Officers, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and others.
\n
• Respond to both Contracting/Grant Officer and Contract/Grant Specialist requests.
\n
• Prepare complete electronic award file folders.
\n
• Coordinate DCMA’s request to verify receipt of all deliverables for completed or expired awards.
\n
• Respond to No Funds Extension (NFEs) requests, coordinate approval with Program Office, and draft modification.
\n
• Draft documents for review such as memos to file; awards; modifications, primarily administrative and incremental funding actions; and other file documentation as required.
\n
• Assist KO’s with electronic filing to include drafting the contract file index, filing of documents in respective systems, and correct use of naming conventions.
\n
• Conduct/support special projects as assigned by the Branch Head or Code 25 Director.
\n
• Schedule and organize meetings including reserving conference rooms.
\n
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Procurement Technician Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Business concentration preferred.
\n
• Active Secret clearance required.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
\n
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
\n
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
\n
