Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, quality care and patient advocacy.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification
- ER nursing experience (preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work in a hospital emergency department setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and relocate or travel to the assignment location as needed
