Respiratory Care Practitioner

Respiratory Care Practitioner
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and their families. Additional job description includes collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in ongoing feedback regarding performance improvement, and implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide the patient care delivery.
The Respiratory Care Practitioner must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: MST, ICU, Emergency Room, Subacute, and BHU.
Graduated from AMA accredited School of Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
Minimum of one year acute patient care experience in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred.
Current California RCP license.
Current Healthcare provider BLS.
Current ACLS.
Current PALS and NRP, within 60 days of hiring.
RRT preferred.
Greater El Monte Community Hospital is an 110 bed hospital which provides ER, ICU, MST, BHU, Subacute, and Surgery services to our community.
