Customer Service Representative
Contract Transport Services
Customer Service Rep
The Customer Service Rep is responsible for the following duties:
- Serve as a primary customer contact for shipment-related inquiries.
- Track freight from pickup through delivery and provide proactive updates.
- Process and monitor EDI transactions accurately and timely.
- Identify and communicate service issues, delays, or risks immediately.
- Coordinate with dispatch, drivers and operations to resolve issues.
- Monitor and report on-time pickups and delivery performance.
- Ensure that white glove delivery service procedures are being met.
- Track shipment revenue and support operational reporting.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for assigned freight and customers.
- Prepare quarterly business reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills in regards to interface with employees and client.
- A strong commitment to safety, care and concerns of our employees.
- Strong Knowledge of FMCSR and DOT requirements
- Advanced computer skills- i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
