Branch Coordinator

Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system Provide information to new and existing patients and troubleshoot common issues Work with the branch team and other departments to resolve and elevate queries or concerns Process new orders, review multiple systems, confirm delivery appointments, verify insurance, obtain equipment authorization, monitor faxes, and perform data entry Gather documentation and information needed to meet insurance guidelines Request health plan authorizations and information electronically or verbally Review new and recurring patient accounts and obtain documentation required to bill health insurance plans Collect credit card payments and billing information, reconcile daily receivables, and submit to the lock box Perform outbound customer satisfaction calls May conduct downloads of recording devices and perform functional tests on respiratory equipment Perform other duties as required Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent At least one-year related work experience English (reading, writing, verbal) Intermediate to advanced computer skills Proficient working within multiple systems at once Intermediate level math skills Effective communication in person, on the phone and electronically Preferred: At least two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center Preferred: Experience utilizing multi-line phone-system Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching or stooping Occasionally lift, push or pull objects ranging from 10 lbs - 40 lbs Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in patient interaction, effective communication, and data management within a healthcare environment. Capable of processing orders, verifying insurance, and handling billing information while ensuring compliance with health plan guidelines.
