Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant in Fort Lauderdale, you will manage core accounting work for a retail company and provide accurate financial information for the Accounting & Finance department. You will use sound judgment and attention to detail to keep financial records clear and reliable. Client Details The company operates in the retail industry and is located in Fort Lauderdale. Description Maintain accurate general ledger records and support timely financial reporting. Prepare and review account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for accounting activity. Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistent recordkeeping. Help prepare monthly financial statements and related reporting schedules. Investigate variances and work with internal teams to clarify financial activity. Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for the Accounting & Finance department.
