The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Alaska International Airport System, and Anchorage International Airport are looking for a Cargo Air Service Coordinator to help us keep Alaska Moving! What you will be doing In this position you will develop and implement long-term strategies to strengthen Anchorage (ANC) as a leading international air cargo hub. Research global cargo markets, trade flows, airline operations, commodity trends, and emerging opportunities to identify potential for growth and expansion. Build and maintain strategic relationships with cargo airlines, freight forwarders, logistics providers, government agencies, and other industry partners while representing the airport at industry events and meetings. Analyze cargo and market data to provide reports, forecasts, business cases, and customized insights that support airport leadership and industry decision-making. Manage the airport’s cargo development consulting contract and maintain key cargo publications, databases, and website content. Monitor industry trends, regulatory and environmental requirements, and cargo operations while working with stakeholders to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and support the continued growth and success of Alaska’s international air cargo system.
