Mapping Support

Job Description Marathon TS is seeking a Mapping Support Analyst to provided support to a Government Mapping program. The role is entry-level and requires a degree in Geography or Environmental Science. The candidate will assist in addressing questions, provide guidance, and perform risk assessment analyses to determine homeowners flood insurance requirements through the Letter Of Map Amendment process. Must have strong analytical and people skills, be a strong team player, and have an attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist in addressing questions and provide guidance as well as perform risk assessment analyses for homeowners flood insurance requirements through Letter Of Map Amendment process. Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent The candidate must have a strong sense of customer service The candidate must exhibit good listening, problem solving skills, and analytics skills Strong verbal and written (business) communication skills Ability to read, use and interpret maps. Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Computer literacy and good data entry and typing skills. Desired Skills Bachelor Degree or previous work experience in the earth sciences/mapping (geography, geology, environmental sciences, surveying).
