Job Title DevOps Engineer – Engineering Productivity Team Location Santa Clara, California, United States Job Description Johnson & Johnson is hiring a DevOps Engineer for the Engineering Productivity Team to improve engineering efficiency by supporting build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and core parts of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development Advance and improve build and general support infrastructure Develop provisioning and deployment strategies Support AWS cloud infrastructure Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements Support monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery systems Build and support engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows to improve visibility into system health and developer productivity Evaluate and enable AI‑based tools, LLM‑driven workflows, and automation opportunities within software development and DevOps environments Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Experience: Minimum 2+ years in DevOps or related field Required Skills: CI/CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins and/or GitLab Cloud and containerization technologies (AWS, Docker) Python and Bash scripting Code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks Monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch or similar) Engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows Familiarity with AI tools, LLM‑based workflows, and automation use cases in software development or DevOps environments Preferred Skills: Experience with QNX, Yocto, and Linux Experience in medical device development Experience with CMake Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform Experience with Artifactory and SonarQube Experience supporting AI or ML workloads, data pipelines, or related infrastructure Other Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Compensation Base salary range: $106,000.00 – $170,200.00 (pay transparency).
