Locums Job Opportunity in Illinois for Interventional Cardiologist

Job Overview

Our organization offers a variety of locum assignments, ranging from just a single day to several years. Schedule and Responsibilities

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5:30 PM, for one to two weeks each month.
Weekend On-Call: From Friday at 5:30 PM to Monday at 7:30 AM.
Procedures: Conduct 1-4 cath lab procedures daily.
Patient Load: Manage 16 office patients per day, including both new and follow-up visits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in TEE, cardiac catheterizations/PTCA, cardioversion, and stress testing.
Capability to read echocardiograms.
Experience with a patient population that is 65% Medicare.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: Between $325.00 and $400.00, depending on various factors such as the urgency of the position and your qualifications.
Weekly payment with negotiated rates that include base pay and potential additional earnings like overtime and holiday pay.
