You will be working with the most advanced tools, processes and talented people in the industry to make the Cloud a reality.Key job responsibilitiesA Network Development Engineer is responsible for engineering, implementation, scalability, operations, reliability, and sustainability of our next-generation networks. An NDE will utilise their networking skills along with our advanced tools and systems to invent, refine and develop automation and mechanisms to reduce manual operations. Basic qualifications- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies- Experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations automation to support IP networking systems.- This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state.Preferred qualification - Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems- Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting- Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysisAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
