About the Position

Hudson's Restaurant & Catering is looking for a dependable, hardworking Utility Worker to help keep our restaurant clean, organized, safe, and running smoothly.

This is a hands-on position with a lot of variety . You'll help with everything from general cleaning and kitchen support to basic maintenance, organization, and outdoor upkeep. No two shifts are exactly the same.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and isn't afraid to jump in and help . Previous maintenance or restaurant experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
What You'll Do

• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the restaurant
• Perform general cleaning inside and outside the property
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food prep and support duties
• Help receive, organize, stock, and rotate restaurant supplies
• Monitor cleaning and maintenance supplies and communicate when items need to be reordered
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance when appropriate
• Assist with changing light bulbs, minor fixes, and general property upkeep
• Help maintain outdoor areas, including watering, weeding, planting, and seasonal cleanup
• Properly use and store cleaning products, tools, and equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist managers and team members with additional projects as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with their hands .

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to help wherever needed
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus
• Previous restaurant, maintenance, custodial, or utility experience is helpful but not required
• Comfortable using standard cleaning products and equipment safely
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to safely lift and move supplies, equipment, and cases
• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
